의료기기가 아니며, 이갈이(bruxism)·코골이·수면무호흡 등 어떤 질환의
진단·치료·예방·의학적 판단에도 사용할 수 없습니다.

BakuGuard(이하 "서비스")는 이용자의 개인정보를 중요하게 생각하며,
「개인정보 보호법」 등 관련 법령을 준수합니다. 본 방침은 서비스가 어떤
정보를 수집·이용·보관·제공하는지, 이용자가 어떤 권리를 행사할 수 있는지를
설명합니다.
1. 수집하는 개인정보 항목

수집하지 않는 것
- 원본 오디오 클립은 서버로 전송되지 않으며, 기기 내에만 일시 저장됩니다.
이용자가 직접 삭제하거나 설정된 보관 기간이 지나면 기기 내에서 삭제됩니다.
- 정확한 위치 정보(GPS), 연락처, 사진·영상 갤러리, 주민등록번호 등 고유식별정보는 수집하지 않습니다.

- 환불·청약 철회 요청 처리 및 관련 고객 지원

3. 보유 및 이용 기간
- 계정 정보 및 수면 기록: 회원 탈퇴 요청 시 즉시 삭제
- 원본 오디오 클립: 기기 내에만 저장되며, 기본 보관 기간(설정 가능) 경과 시 또는 이용자 삭제 시 제거

관계 법령에 따라 일정 기간 보관이 필요한 정보는 탈퇴 요청 이후에도 해당 기간 동안 다른 정보와 분리하여 보관한 후 파기합니다.

위 사업자는 미국 등 해외 서버에서 데이터를 처리할 수 있습니다.
이용자는 개인정보 국외 이전에 동의하지 않을 권리가 있으며,
동의를 거부할 경우 일부 기능(로그인·동기화·광고 기반 무료 이용)이 제한될 수 있습니다.
5. 서비스 개선 및 감지 모델 학습을 위한 활용

서비스는 수집·저장된 정보(수면 이벤트 타임스탬프, 이벤트 유형, 추정 강도·확률, 분류 결과,
세션 통계, 앱 설정, 기기·진단 로그 등)를 서비스 운영 및 품질 향상, 감지 모델의 학습·재학습·평가,
오탐·미탐 분석, 신규 기능·알고리즘 연구·개발, 통계·학술 목적으로 활용할 수 있습니다.

위 활용 시, 개인을 식별할 수 없도록 집계·비식별·익명 처리된 형태로 사용하는 것을
원칙으로 하며, 식별 가능한 형태로 외부에 공개하지 않습니다.

원본 오디오 클립은 서버로 전송되지 않으며, 별도의 명시적 동의 절차를 거치지 않는 한
모델 학습·평가 데이터로 사용되지 않습니다. 향후 클라우드 기반 분석 또는 원본 오디오 기반
학습이 도입될 경우, 해당 시점에 별도로 동의를 요청합니다.

이용자는 위 활용에 대해 동의를 철회하거나 처리 정지를 요청할 수 있으며, 계정 삭제 시
서버에 저장된 관련 데이터는 함께 삭제됩니다. 다만 이미 비식별·익명화되어 개인 식별이 불가능한
통계 자료나 이를 바탕으로 학습된 모델 가중치(model weights)에는 해당 요청이 반영되지
않을 수 있습니다.
6. 이용자의 권리와 행사 방법
- 이용자는 언제든지 자신의 개인정보에 대해 열람·정정·삭제·처리 정지를 요청할 수 있습니다.
- 앱 내 [설정 → 계정 삭제] 기능을 통해 계정과 관련 데이터(수면 기록 포함)를 삭제할 수 있으며,
삭제 요청 시 지체 없이 처리합니다.
- 광고 개인화를 원치 않는 경우 기기 설정에서 광고 식별자를 재설정하거나 맞춤형 광고를 제한할 수 있습니다.
7. 만 14세 미만 아동
서비스는 만 14세 미만 아동의 가입을 받지 않으며, 해당 연령의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.
보호자가 자녀의 개인정보가 수집된 것을 발견한 경우, 아래 연락처로 알려 주시면 즉시 삭제합니다.
8. 개인정보의 안전성 확보 조치
- 전송 구간 암호화(TLS) 및 저장소 암호화 적용
- 접근 권한 최소화 및 인증 기반 접근 통제
- 오디오 원본은 기기 내에만 저장하여 외부 유출 위험 최소화

BakuGuard ("the Service") respects the privacy of its users and complies
with applicable data protection laws. This policy explains what information
we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights you have over your data.

What we do NOT collect
- Raw audio clips are not uploaded to our servers. They remain on the device and are deleted when you remove them or when the configured local retention window expires.
- We do not collect precise location (GPS), contacts, your photo/video library, or national identification numbers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate accounts and keep you signed in
- Store, synchronize, and display sleep session records and reports
- Analyze usage and crash data to improve the Service
- Improve detection model performance, analyze false positives / negatives, and research new features and algorithms
- Process in-app purchases and subscriptions, and manage receipts and subscription status
- Handle refund or withdrawal requests and related customer support
- Serve advertising and handle advertising identifiers in line with applicable law
- Respond to support inquiries and send service announcements
3. Retention
- Account and sleep records: deleted promptly upon account deletion request.
- Raw audio clips: stored only on your device and removed after the configured retention window or when you delete them.

Information required to be retained under applicable law is kept separately from other data for the required period after a deletion request, then destroyed. For users in Korea this includes:
- Records on contracts or withdrawal of offer — 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in E-Commerce)
- Records on payment and supply of goods — 5 years (same Act)
- Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution — 3 years (same Act)
- Records on display or advertising — 6 months (same Act)
- Login logs (IP, timestamp) — 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
4. Sharing and Sub-Processors
We share certain data with the following processors to operate the Service:

These processors may store and process data on servers outside your country,
including in the United States. You may decline cross-border transfer; doing so
may disable sign-in, synchronization, or ad-supported free access.
5. Use for Service Improvement and Detection Model Training

Information we collect and store (sleep event timestamps, event types, estimated
intensity and probability, classifier outputs, session statistics, app settings,
device / diagnostic logs, etc.) may be used to
operate and improve the Service, train, retrain, and evaluate our detection
models, analyze false positives / negatives, research and develop new features
and algorithms, and for statistical or academic purposes.

Such use is carried out in aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized form
that cannot be linked back to an individual, and we do not publish data in
identifiable form.

Raw audio clips are not transmitted to our servers and will not be
used as training or evaluation data unless you give separate, explicit consent.
If cloud-based analysis or raw-audio-based training is introduced in the future,
we will request your consent at that point.

You may withdraw consent or request a stop to this processing at any
time. Deleting your account removes associated data from our servers. However,
data that has already been aggregated, de-identified, or incorporated into model
weights such that you can no longer be identified may persist.
6. Your Rights
- You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal data at any time.
- You can delete your account and associated data (including sleep records) from within the app at Settings → Delete Account. Requests are processed without undue delay.
- You can limit ad personalization by resetting your advertising ID or turning on "Limit Ad Tracking" in your device settings.
7. Children Under 14
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 14, and we do not
knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has
provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security

- Raw audio is retained only on-device to minimize exposure
